We’re now going to have a ceremony in honor of our “Fallen Heroes”.
My name is Jerry Steiner class of 1970 and I’m the senior vice Commander here at Kettering Memorial Post 9927. This is the 5th Belmont Bash and this year I’d like to take a moment to remember some of our classmates – whom I refer to as “Fallen Heroes”. We’re all blessed to be able to come to the bash and share memories of our time at Belmont and I’d like to thank you all for making it possible. But if you look behind me at the banner you’ll see the names of fellow classmates that paid the ultimate sacrifice for us to be able to share these moments and I’d like to mention their names so that as we enjoy these times together we never forget our “Fallen Heroes”.
May I direct your attention to the Honor Guard’s presentation of colors?
