Directions & MapCrawford, Steve, age 57, of Miamisburg, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2010. Steve was preceded in death by his sister: Marguerite Fink. He is survived by his wife: Lyn; he was the devoted father of: Jim (Amanda), Steve (Amber), Eric, Kevin “Mooch” (Kristi) and Jennifer Hupp; grandchildren: Laney, Tyler, Aaron, Brandon, Lance; mother and step father: Shirley & Bob Grill; brother and sister-in-law: Bart (Joan) Crawford; and his dogs: Elwood & Gabe.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, December 10, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9:30 A.M. until time of service.

GUTHRIE, Gary S. age 57, of Riverside, passed away Thursday, August, 26,
2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Norma Guthrie.
Gary is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ellen Guthrie; daughter, Amber
Guthrie; son, Keith McGuffie; brother, David M. Guthrie; and many friends
and relatives. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 31, 2010
from 12:30-1:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd,

WAKER JR., John Henry age 56, of Kettering, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. John attended Immaculate Conception Grade School and was a 1971 graduate of Belmont High School. He was a retired volunteer firefighter with the City of Kettering serving for over 27 years, and also retired from the City of Kettering with over 23 years of service. He loved fishing and just being with his family. John is survived by his wife of 31 years: Nancy (Fisher) Waker; daughters and son-in-law: Amy Loyd, Christina (Nick) Kovach, Jennifer Faris, Karen Gifford; grandchildren: Jordon & Taylor Medlin, Sheridan, Sidney & Skyler Faris, Joey, Mikala & Miranda Loyd, Sam & Noah Cass; sister and brother-in-law: Pat (Jerry) Stubbs; brothers and sister-in-law: David (Karen) Waker of Colorado, Donald Waker; sister-in-law: Rita J. Young; dear friends: Liz & Harry Bennett, Ernie & Rhonda Reid, Mike & Tami Freshwater; all of his brothers with the Kettering Fire Department, especially Company 33; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; John Henry Sr. & Eileen (Hollenbaugh) Waker; and sister: Marsha Cundiff. Memorial services will be held at Southbrook Christian Church Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends two hours (5-7pm) prior to service. Robert Michael "Bob" Pytosh

PYTOSH, Robert "Bob" Michael age 56 of Kettering, lost his courageous battle against cancer on Monday, November 16, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. Bob was born June 2, 1953, in Dayton. He graduated from Belmont High School in 1971 and went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps (1971-1977). Bob was honored to be a member of the Presidents Own, Marine Corps Band. He was stationed in Washington D.C. and served during the inauguration and administration under President Nixon. He was also a member of the American Legion. He was an entrepreneur owning his first establishment First Stop (4 years) and moved on to owning the Patterson Park Sunoco Station for over 20 years. Bobs last endeavor was the Huber Heights Sunoco Station (5 years). He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Pytosh Sr. and brother, Steve Pytosh Jr. Bob is survived by his loving companion of 18 years, MaryAnn Fitzpatrick; mother, Viola Pytosh; MaryAnns Children, Shannon, Kelly and Sean Fitzpatrick; sister, Vicki Pytosh (Harry Anthony); nieces and nephews, Angie (Todd) Davis, Stephanie (Greg) Lohman, Abby Pytosh and Steven Pytosh; great niece, Emma Lohman; and many other relatives, friends and faithful and loving dog Lizzy. The family wishes to thank all of Bobs many wonderful friends at Park Row, Partners, Geez, Gourmet Club and our special neighbors. Funeral services will be held Friday November 20th at 6:00 pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering with Father Gerald Haemmerle officiating. The family will also visit with friends in "Bobs USUAL manner" following the funeral service on Friday. WALLACE, Diane D. Age 55 of Dayton, OH passed away Monday February 23, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents Harry & Diane Wallace and one sister Jill Wallace. She is survived by her three daughters, Keri Poole of Dayton, OH, Michelle (Jason) Miller of Huber Heights, OH, Heather (Kirk) Hinders of Charleston, SC. She was blessed with six grandchildren whom lovingly called her Neen, Alec (Poole) Pugh, Trevor and Sydney Miller, Justin, Krystal and Jillian Hinders. One niece Ashley (Walter) Leach of Atlanta, GA , one Great Nephew Julian Leach, her brother Mark Wallace of Centerville, OH, as well as extended family and friends. Ms Wallace was retired from the Dayton Metro Library. She volunteered her time with Friends of the Dayton Metro Library, Gem City Tours and Programs, and Friends of the Dayton Arcade.
